[ARCHIVED] Sugar Land's Civic Art Division Presents The Ransom Brothers

Summer of Sound 2024

Sugar Land, TX – The Sugar Land Civic Art Division will kick off the first week of its Summer of Sound 2024 concert series with The Ransom Brothers on June 1, from 7-10 p.m., at Oyster Creek Park, 4033 Highway 6.

The performance starts at 8 p.m., and admission is free, so bring picnic baskets, blankets, friends and family for a night of southern charm and musical magic.

Hailing from the heart of Austin, The Ransom Brothers epitomize the spirit of southern country rock, crafting a sound that's equal parts raw energy and heartfelt storytelling.

With each song, The Ransom Brothers take listeners on a journey through the heart of America's musical heritage. Their lyrics, drawn from personal experiences and the tales of everyday life, resonate like an old friend, reminding listeners of the beauty and power of authentic storytelling through song. Seamlessly blending the soulful sounds of country, the gritty edge of rock, and the earthy allure of folk, they create a sound that's as rich and diverse as the Texan landscape itself.

From honky-tonk dance floors to packed music halls, The Ransom Brothers' live performances are a testament to their captivating stage presence and undeniable chemistry. Their shows are more than just concerts; they're celebrations of life, love and the stories that unite everyone.
