The Sugar Cube (Block Party Trailer)

Connecting neighbors, one block at a time! The Sugar Cube was created to build community within the City of Sugar Land by bringing people within its neighborhoods together. 

The Sugar Cube provides a convenient way to bring people together right where they live in hopes of finding similarities that will bring them closer together.

All you need to throw a great party!

Tables, chairs, tents, games, and more! The Sugar Cube contains everything you need to throw a great block party for your neighborhood. Check our "What's inside" flyer for specifics.

So, how does it all work?

  • Make sure your neighborhood or group is registered.
  • Make an online reservation below.
  • We bring The Sugar Cube to you on Friday and pick it back up on Monday - no hassle!
  • You and your neighbors enjoy a great block party, courtesy of The Sugar Cube!

What is a registered group?

The City maintains an online contact database of homeowner associations, neighborhood associations, and recognized community groups across Sugar Land. Unsure whether your neighborhood or group is registered? Visit the Neighborhood Registration website or email sugarcube@sugarlandtx.gov.

My group is registered - now what?

Please note the following Sugar Cube reservation guidelines:

  • Reservations are free and on a first-come, first-served basis.
  • Reservations are accepted up to one year in advance.
  • The trailer can only be reserved once every quarter per registered group.
  • Reservations are restricted to weekends only - excluding those in close proximity to official City holidays where the city is hosting a special event (Memorial Day, July 4th, etc.).

Is the Sugar Cube available?

The Sugar Cube's availability is posted online. We strongly suggest checking availability to ensure your desired date is available.
