Beginning Monday, September 30, 2013, night time lane closures, 9:00 P.M. to 5:00 A.M. the contractor will begin removing sections of pavement. Evening work will continue through Thursday, October 3, 2013 (weather permitting).
Pavement removal and concrete pours (not a part of the original construction) will begin on Dulles and Austin Parkway lanes, Monday night at 9:00 P.M. and is scheduled to be completed by 5:00 A.M. Thursday morning. Through lanes and access to businesses will be maintained at all times while the work is ongoing.
All necessary public services such as Fire, Police, Post Office, and Sanitation pickup have been notified of the paving operation hours in order to ensure no impact of services to the community.
All motorists are expected to follow the construction signs at all times. City staff will provide updates as the construction continues.
