The westbound lane of 7th Street from Sugar Land Middle School to West Green Belt Drive will be closed for traffic starting June 12 through August 14. A marked detour route will be available at West Green Belt Dr.

This project is intended to improve drainage and mobility, top concerns of residents as expressed in our most recent citizen satisfaction survey; address safety along city roadways, ensuring Sugar Land remains safer than ever before; and enhance street drainage, as the city’s commitment to aggressively investing in infrastructure continues.
