[ARCHIVED] Dairy Ashford Rd. – Lane Closures

Update: July 30
The outside northbound lane of Dairy Ashford between Park Ln. and US Hwy 90A will be closing August 6, 2018. Park Ln. west of Dairy Ashford right at the intersection will be reduced to one lane in each direction.


Updates will be posted for any anticipated major traffic impacts. Residents are asked to be mindful of work crews and expect traffic delays. Visit its.sugarlandtx.gov for more information on Sugar Land travel time data.


Initial: July 26

Temporary single lane closures will be taking place on Dairy Ashford (from Park Ln. to Stiles Ln.), tentatively expected to begin on August 6. The closures will be intermittent. This construction activity is part of project that includes pavement, traffic signal, drainage, sidewalk and side path, and water line replacement. The project is expected to be completed late 2019.

Improving Mobility within Sugar Land
This project is in partnership with Fort Bend County and signifies an investment in mobility improvements and traffic management in the State Highway 90A corridor. The project is part of ongoing efforts to improve mobility along major thoroughfares through Sugar Land, including State Highway 6, U.S. Highway 90A, University Boulevard and Dairy Ashford.
