[ARCHIVED] SH 6 Lane Closures - Re-striping

Temporary lane closures on SH 6 will take place on Monday, June 11 through Saturday, June 16. These closures will occur during the night from 8 p.m. until 5 a.m.

The Texas Department of Transportation (TXDOT) will re-stripe SH 6 within the Fort Bend County limits, beginning on the north (bissonett) through City continuing through Dulles. (approx. Bissonnet St to FM 521).

Phase 1 of this project will restripe the lane lines on SH 6. Phase 2, which will re-stripe the intersection lines, will follow. Details will be posted on this website.

Residents are asked to be mindful of work crews, expect traffic delays, and when possible, avoid the area to prevent traffic congestion. Visit its.sugarlandtx.gov for more information on Sugar Land traffic conditions.
