Union Pacific Railroad will close the rail crossing at Eldridge Road along US 90A on Saturday, November 4 at 9 a.m. through Monday, November 6 at 5 a.m.
The repairs will address issues with the ride across the tracks. The asphalt transitions on the north side of the tracks will be rebuilt by the City.
Residents should follow the US 90A and Eldridge detour signs to use alternate routes during the rail crossing closure. Residents are asked to be mindful of work crews, expect traffic delays, and when possible, avoid the area to prevent traffic congestion. Visit its.sugarlandtx.gov for more information on Sugar Land travel time data.
