Inspection Services Available by Request
Application for Food Inspection or Consultation
The following entities may submit an application for an inspection:
- A school cafeteria that is run by an Independent School District that requires two (2) inspections per year;
- A childcare facility that is licensed by the Texas Health and Human Services (HHS) Child Care that requires an annual inspection;
- A non-profit organization requesting an inspection for food-service operations;
- A food establishment or event producer requesting a pre-operational inspection or consultation; or
- Any other entity requesting an inspection related to food operations where such inspection is authorized by state law or falls within the city’s regulatory authority.
