Born 1879 in Texas. Age 34 at intake. 10 year sentence for assault to rob with firearms. Convicted March 12, 1913 in Galveston County. Died September 12, 1916. His tombstone was broken and only had inmate number on it. The tombstone says he died March 29, 1914, but according to records, he was granted a conditional pardon in 1914 and discharged April 16, 1916. P. Wingate’s death is not in Imperial Prison Farm records, so he may not be buried here, so the pillow marker is shown as 'Unknown.'
