Proposition A funds phase 3 of the public safety training facility, the renovation of the existing Police and Court building, in addition to construction of a new Police headquarters.

Other projects include the expansion and rebuilding of City fire stations, the rehabilitation of public safety buildings, the replacement and rebuilding of aging firefighting vehicles along with the purchase of specialized SWAT command vehicles and the rehabilitation of a fuel station that serves the City fleet.
