Education & Career
Kevin came to Sugar Land in June of 2022 and is responsible of overseeing all aspects of emergency response and training. He is a 19-year veteran of the fire service having started his career in his childhood hometown of Richton Park, Illinois in 2005. He served the majority of his career in the Chicago suburbs before relocating to Texas and most recently served as the EMS Battalion Chief in Sugar Land.
Kevin is a Marine Corps veteran and holds a Master of Public Administration degree from the University of Illinois-Springfield, a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from Eastern Illinois University, and an Associates of Applied Arts in Emergency Medical Services from Waubonsee Community College. He is a TCFP Master Structural Firefighter, Master Fire Service Instructor, Licensed Paramedic, and holds designations as a Fire Service Chief Executive Officer, Managing Paramedic Officer, and Nationally Certified EMS Educator.
Kevin and his amazing wife, Kathy, have three daughters in junior high and high school. They all enjoy staying active, spending summertime in the pool or at the beach, and all things Disney.
