Sugar Land, TX - December 16, 2025 - On December 16, 2025 at approximately 8:15 p.m., Sugar Land Police and Fire crews responded to a multi-vehicle accident on State Highway 6 at Imperial Blvd. Responding officers found that a vehicle traveling southbound on Highway 6 veered across the center median and onto the northbound lanes of traffic when it was struck by a pick-up truck going northbound. The female driver of that vehicle was pronounced dead at the scene. Three occupants in the pickup truck were transported to a hospital. The north and southbound lanes of Hwy. 6, from U.S. 90 to Imperial Blvd., will be shut down for several hours through the duration of the investigation.
