Thomas L. James Park is a quiet .5 acre greenbelt park overlooking Oyster Creek. This picturesque park features benches and a shade structure, and can be used as a quiet fishing spot.
The park is named in honor of Thomas Leroy James, who moved to Sugar Land in 1929 at the age of 22, for his many years of service to Sugarland Industries and for his 59 years of dedicated service to the enhancement of the community of the City of Sugar Land.
