Slockett Park is an 8.6 acre park featuring a playground, a .4 mile walking/biking trail, tennis court, benches, sand volleyball court, three pavilions with seven picnic tables, a drinking fountain, and a small parking lot (28 spaces).

The park was re-dedicated in 1987 to the memory of Sergeant Ron Slockett, the sole Sugar Land police officer to be killed in the line of duty on July 4, 1987. A memorial plaque for Sergeant Slockett resides near the entrance of the park.
