Dawn Steph joined the City of Sugar Land in February 2010 as the Environmental Manager. Over her career at the city she has held multiple leadership positions including Assistant Director of Public Works, Interim Director of Parks & Recreation, Director of Environmental & Neighborhood Services and eventually promoted to Interim Executive Director in May 2023. Prior to joining the City of Sugar Land, Dawn was the Recycling Coordinator for the City of College Station.
Dawn earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Bioenvironmental Sciences from Texas A&M University and serves on the Texas A&M University Bioenvironmental Sciences Professional Board. She is a member of the Texas City Management Association and International City/County Management Association.
