What will happen with the Char House?

Preservation of the Imperial Char House is of the utmost importance to us as a City. This entire site is too important to our City’s history – it’s a detriment to our City’s future to not act now. Our goal for the Char House is to cement its place in history as not only a Sugar Land historical landmark, but as a Texas Historical Landmark. The developer understands the importance and significance of The Char House, therefore Phase 1 of the project will focus on the preservation and reuse of the building.
