Officer E. Pino was born in Englewood, Colorado. He attended the Gus George Law Enforcement Academy class #16 alongside his brother. He excelled during his time at the academy, serving as the class president and graduating in the top 5% in June 2001. Officer E. Pino began his career with the Sugar Land Police Department in January 2002 and was promoted to Sergeant in November 2009. For about 18 years, he was the team leader for the East Fort Bend Crisis Negotiating team. His brother holds the rank of Sergeant within the Lamar Consolidated ISD Police department, while his father retires as a detective from the City of Englewood, Colorado Police Department. Additionally, his sister works as a court reporter for Fort Bend County. Sergeant E. Pino is the proud father of Caitlin, his 10-year-old daughter, and the uncle to three nieces and a nephew.
