Chess Fest welcomes all casual and avid chess players and chess enthusiasts! Numerous walk-in activities, chess tables and chess-themed activities plus grand master challenges and a blitz tournament make up this fun annual event.
2023 Event
The Chess Fest was hosted on Saturday, February 25 from 10 a.m. - 3 p.m.
Sugar Land Town Square was full of activities for all to enjoy including a Blitz Tournament, Simul, Challenge the Grand Master, learn to Play Chess Area, Bughouse Area and much more. There were face painters, caricature artists and a chess-themed photo booth.
