Development Review Committee (DRC)

The DRC is internal staff that reviews development submittals for compliance with the City's policies and codes. The DRC currently consists of staff from various departments - Transportation & Mobility, Engineering, and the Traffic Management and Operations Division work together on reviewing development plans, traffic studies, and capital projects affecting the City’s transportation system.

Transportation Impact Analysis (TIA)

TIAs are a critical component of the development review process. The purpose of the analytical study is to help staff identify the effect of a proposed development on the City’s transportation system relating to capacity, level of service, and safety. The study, when required, shall address site circulation of pedestrians, bicyclists, transit, delivery trucks, and other vehicles; identify impacts of the development-generated traffic onto the existing transportation network; and provide appropriate mitigation for safe and efficient movement of people and goods.
