I provide legal support to City departments, which includes things like drafting contracts and providing legal opinions. I also assist with open records requests and provide support as needed to the City's various boards and commissions.
I interned for the City Attorney's Office in Summer 2013.
The wonderful staff and the opportunity to serve the Sugar Land community, albeit in a very behind the scenes, indirect way.
I was hired as a Law Clerk in January 2014 and was promoted to Assistant City Attorney when I passed the Texas Bar Exam in November 2015.
I was able to get a comprehensive idea of the work involved in my department, and the expectations of the organization as a whole.
When the legal solution to an issue is one that also meets my client's goals.
