Council Member Suzanne Whatley

Elected to a three-year term serving District One, Suzanne Whatley is a 24-year resident of Sugar Land, a small business owner of 17 years, a commercial property owner in District One, a mother of five, and an avid community leader in Sugar Land. With a business background, sincere interest in community service, and love of governance, she brings unique perspective and experience to City Council representing District One.  As a member of the city council, she also serves on the Sugar Land Development Corporation (SLDC) and City Compensation Committee.

Her husband of 29 years, Brad also owns a small business in Sugar Land and shares her passion for the community.
