James E. Reider
Officer James Reider has been with the Sugar Land Police Department since June 30, 1987. Prior to coming to Sugar Land, Officer Reider had worked at the Harris County Sheriff’s Office for 10 years as a patrol officer. Officer Reider has been in the patrol division for most of his career at the Sugar Land Police Department. During his tenure with the department, he has been the Firearms Instructor, Field Training Officer, S.W.A.T. member, and has taught classes for the Citizens Police Academy.
Officer Reider enjoys spending his free time with his wonderful family and doing Action Cowboy Shooting. Officer Reider has many years of law enforcement experience and he is ready to share that knowledge to the many citizens of Sugar Land.
