The information herein is based on the Sugar Land Police Department's desire to both comply with state law as enumerated in Chapter 62 of the Texas Code of Criminal Procedure and to facilitate access to that information. Individuals identified herein are included solely by virtue of their conviction and state law.

The Sugar Land Police Department has not assessed the specific risk of recidivism with regard to any individual prior to his or her inclusion within this registry and has made no determination that any individual included in the registry is currently dangerous. Positive identification of persons covered by Chapter 62 of the Texas Code of Criminal Procedure cannot be established unless a fingerprint comparison is made. Because incorrect identifications may occur when trying to identify a particular person based solely on name and other identifiers, extreme care must be used in the review and use of the information provided herein.

The Sugar Land Police Department updates this information regularly. However, the information herein can change quickly. Please be aware that  this information may not reflect the current residence, status, or other information provided. Please note that Sugar Land has two zip codes (77478 and 77479) and you should perform searches on both when requesting a search by area.  The D.P.S. web site does not differentiate between the Sugar Land Police Department and the Fort Bend County Sheriff's Office.  The search on these zip codes will produce a list of offenders from both departments.  The Sugar Land Police Department is responsible for only those living inside the City limits.  You are encouraged to check the State Site listed above.
