Looking for July 25 Homicide Suspects

SUGAR LAND POLICE NEED YOUR ASSISTANCE

Sugar Land Police arrested on July 25 a 16-year-old young man who is believed to be involved in the July 21 homicide that took the life of 18-year-old Michael Garcia.  The juvenile is currently being held in the Fort Bend Juvenile Detention Facility.

Sugar Land Police have arrest warrants for the following three men in connection with the homicide.  Your assistance is needed for their apprehension:

Jesus Almendarez, 19-year-old Missouri City resident

Jose Javier Almendarez, 24-year-old Houston resident

Jose Amadeo Barrera, 28-year-old Houston resident

The homicide occurred at a home located in the 3100 block of W. Heatherock Circle in the Chimneystone Subdivision. Several men allegedly arrived at the home and Garcia was shot numerous times in the chest.  One of the men got into a physical altercation with the victim's brother who answered the front door.  The victim and his father allegedly came to the front door and that is when gunfire erupted.
