Special Enforcement District/Gang Task Force

The multijurisdictional "special crimes unit" created by the police departments of Sugar Land, Missouri City, Stafford and the Fort Bend Independent School District for the law enforcement agencies to share information and strategies to cope with various types of crimes - including gang activities - that often occur across jurisdictions. Office space equipped with computers for the unit has been created at the Sugar Land Police Department.

The unit focuses on all types of crimes, identifying trends that enable the unit to a proactive approach to investigations.
