The Sugar Land Police Department's Computer Assisted Dispatch (CAD) software and Records Management System (RMS) is equipped with Tiburon 2000 software. The software is designed to provide support for departments of any size.
The software supports the use of Mobile Computing Devices. Computers inside the police vehicle allows officers to have a direct link to the Police Department via a digital computer radio system.
