USA Fit Adventure Racing Clinics
Put some ADVENTURE in your life and stop by one or all of the adventure racing clinics that will be hosted by the Houston chapter of USA Fit Adventure Racing. The Adventure Racing 101 tent will feature a comprehensive overview of the sport and more!
Mountain Biking Clinic
The Greater Houston Off-Road Biking Association (GHORBA) and Bike Barn will be hosting a MTB Skills Clinic that will help prepare you for the off-road trails in development. Learn the basic principals of mountain biking and how to improve your balance, control and technical skills as they relate to off-road biking. An exciting skills course gives you an opportunity to put all you learned to the test!
Navigation Clinic
Wear your running shoes, and get ready to explore the park at the navigation clinic. Learn the basics of navigation (also known as orienteering) from an adventure racing perspective. This clinic will teach you how to navigate throughout the park to find checkpoints using only a map and compass.
Canoeing Clinic
Gear up for the canoeing clinic where you will be taught the basics of how to paddle a canoe. This clinic will involve on and off water instruction, so be ready to do some hands-on work.
The Big Game
Rockwalls
You won’t be able to miss the rockwalls once you enter the park! Standing at over 25 feet high, these towers invite you to try to make it to the top.
Moonwalks
Featuring obstacle courses, a giant slide, and bounce houses, the moonwalk area is sure to put a spring in your step.

Canoeing
Try out a canoe on the lake! All gear is provided and brief instruction will be given prior to embarking on your adventure.
Something Fishy!
Stop by the Sea Center Texas touch tanks to see and feel live underwater animals from the coastal region. Look out! Things might get slimy!!
Galveston Bay Education
Did you know that the Brazos River flows into the Galveston Bay? Look and learn about the Galveston Bay at the Galveston Bay Foundation’s education table.
Fish Rubbing Tables
Make a coastal fish, mammal, or invertebrate appear by rubbing a crayon on a piece of paper. The raised picture below the paper will appear, and so will fun facts about your animal. Hosted at the Bayou City Outdoors info tent.

Learn about non-point source pollution and how you can help in its prevention with an ‘Enviroscape’ model hosted by Texas Watch.

History
Sun Photo Prints
Make your own cool designs with photo-sensitive paper and the sun at the sun print booth presented by FotoFest. Invented in 1842, the cyanotype process uses the suns UV rays to change the color of the paper.
Dig for Ancient Treasure
Dig for artifacts at the archeological dig hosted by the Fort Bend Archeological Society. They will also have a touch table display of archeological artifacts found in Fort Bend County.
Grandma's Attic
Try out a game from the early 1900’s like stilts, hoops and more at the Fort Bend Museum’s booth and look at the old treasures that they will bring with them.
Child Photo ID's
Brought to you by the Sugar Land Police Department. Stop by the Child ID booth to get a picture taken of your child and a free child ID made.
