Sugar Land Community Center
It’s time again for the Sugar Land family to pitch in and help the less fortunate through the Share Your Holiday Food Drive.
The Share Your Holiday Food Drive supports the efforts of our local organizations who are helping local families in crisis meet their basic needs.
Citizens may support the drive through donations of canned goods, beans, dried fruit, flour, rice, sugar, powdered and canned baby milk, baby formula, diapers and other non-perishable food items. Cash donations or checks made payable to East Fort Bend Human Needs Ministry will also be accepted.
In previous years, the food and items from efforts like Sugar Land’s food drive have meant the following:
- 14, 063 children did not go hungry
- 3,500 homebound senior citizens received food
- 2,423 people were able to receive a traditional holiday meal
- 8,161 people received fresh fruit, produce and other food items
Please help support our efforts by donating at the Sugar Land Community Center located at 226 Matlage Way.
