Houston Children's Museum - Discovery Center in Sugar Land Town Square

The Children’s Museum of Houston’s first satellite location, The Children’s Museum of Houston Discovery Center at Sugar Land Town Square, debuts at Sugar Land Town Square on Friday, June 6, and continues through Wednesday, July 18.

The Children’s Museum of Houston Discovery Center at Sugar Land Town Square is dedicated to transforming communities through innovative, child-centered learning for children ages birth to 12 years. The museum is located at 16250 City Walk in Sugar Land Town Square. (formerly the Bombay space).

Sugar Land Superstar Competition

Sugar Land Town Square is gearing up to kick off its third Sugar Land Superstar competition this summer. The American Idol-like competition will result in one contestant being named the new Sugar Land Superstar in August. Competition dates are June 14th, July 12th, and August 9th from 7-9 pm.

23rd Annual Red, White & Bluefest

Come out and celebrate Independence Day with the largest fireworks display in Fort Bend County at the City of Sugar Land’s 23rd Annual Red, White & Bluefest at Oyster Creek Park on Friday, July 4th, from 5 to 10 p.m. There will be live entertainment by "Password," one of Houston's hottest party bands, and 100 acres of food and activities for the entire family.

Outdoor Facilities and Parks

Disc Golf Course
Disc golf is similar to traditional golf. Instead of a ball and clubs, however, players use a disc, or Frisbee. The nine-hole course located in the southern, undeveloped portion of the park and will wind through existing trees. Golfers must bring their own discs.
