Senior Ambassadors - Wanted!


Volunteers to assist at the Senior Center
The Parks and Recreation Department is seeking Senior Ambassadors to volunteer at the newly renovated Senior Center. We are looking for enthusiastic people to meet and greet visitors, teach classes, maintain the library and the information center - just to name a few things. Seniors interested can pick up an application at the Senior Center reception desk.
Disc Golf The City of Sugar Land has officially opened a 9-hole disc golf course at Imperial Park.  Never played?  We have the rules at the Senior Center and a map of the course.  No discs?  No problem, we can loan you discs to play the course.

Walk around the block with us to help raise funds for Susan G. Komen for the Cure Foundation. Pink shirts will be given out to all participants (for a $5 donation). Help raise even more money by having your friends sponsor you on how far you make it. Don't want to walk -- you can still donate and get a shirt.

Price is $7; resident discount price is $5. Tickets will be sold at the door for $8; resident discount price is $6. Pre-sale tickets will be sold until 4 p.m. on the day of the dance.
