Leisure Classes - "New Policy"

Because there has been such a large turnout for Yoga, Tai Chi and Line Dancing, we are now asking -- no, insisting! -- that you sign up in advance for these classes. Space is limited, but if you miss this month, there's always the next month. Each class session will be one month.

Residents will be able to register for the class the first Monday of the month prior to the session and non-residents will be able to register the second Monday of the month. For example: for classes in January, residents can register beginning December 3 and non-residents can begin registering December 10. Any open spots after the session begins will be on a first come, first serve basis.

WANTED! Instructors to teach Leisure Classes for Seniors.

Got talent? Special skills you want to share with others? We are looking for instructors to teach classes during the day at the Senior Center in activities such as Bridge, 42, Canasta, Dominoes, Card Games, Foreign Languages and so much more. Contact the Parks & Recreation Department at (281) 275-2885 and ask to speak with Kelly Penewitt or email us at seniors@sugarlandtx.gov.
