This 50 acre park site was donated to the City by the late Mr. Walter and Virginia Duhacsek.
This homestead is filled with huge hand-grafted pecan trees. It holds one of the largest pecan trees in Texas. The house is available for reservations for groups up to 40 people. Inside activities can take place in the living room, dinning room, office and kitchen areas with 2 restrooms available. Two picnic tables are also available, one in the front yard and one in the backyard for your outside enjoyment.
This park is an ideal setting for:

Company Picnics
and youth groups such as, Boy Scouts and Girl Scouts.
The pavilion can accommodate up to 75 people. The pavilion has 12 picnic tables, 2 BBQ grills, restroom facilities and 55 parking spaces.
The park has large open spaces for outdoor activities as well as a wooded area with a .3 mile nature trail and a pond.
Outdoor activities: 2 volleyball courts, horseshoe and washer pits, open areas for football, soccer, backstop for softball/baseball.
