The City of Sugar Land is updating the Land Use Plan, which documents the land use policies that guide development within the City. The Land Use Plan is one of the City's eight master plans and was last updated in November 2004. Learn more about the plan update.

Participate in the Land Use Plan
We want your feedback to create a plan that is representative of Sugar Land. You can participate in the following ways:

  1. Attend the Land Use Plan Public Meeting:

    December 3, 2014 at 6 p.m.

    Residents will be able to provide feedback on a draft vision and goals for the City’s Land Use Plan and identify strategies to achieve the goals. Participants in attendance will be eligible to win prizes.

Land Use Forum 

The land use forum speaker and community discussion series has come to a close. During the 3 month series, nearly 300 people attended and participated. The six-part speaker series included presentations by recognized experts on a variety of land use-related topics important to consider for the near and long-term future of Sugar Land.
