New Year's Eve Celebration
New Year’s Eve on the Square

Thursday, December 31, 2015
Sugar Land Town Square

Great weather and good times were an awesome combination for Sugar Land’s party! Close to 20,000 people hailed in the New Year in Sugar Land Town Square. The special midnight countdown included a state-of-the-art live 3D show with a giant 3D sugar cube being brought to the center of City Hall by a Rube Goldberg machine before being “dropped” at the stroke of midnight and shattering at its doorstep.

State of the art lighting effects and sound production added soul and beat to the Square with modern lighting and audio effects bringing the buildings to life.

Entertainment, never before seen in Sugar Land, added to the magnificent show with life-size dinosaurs that roamed City Walk Dr. A street magician, contortionist, jugglers, sword swallower, LED performers, aerial artists and costumed walk around characters amazed the crowd with dazzling performances. Houston’s hottest dueling DJs, rocked the plaza with the best party hits throughout the ages including a mixture of Classic Rock, R&B, Blues & Dance favorites.

Missed out on all the fun this year? Want to relive every spectacular moment? Then make sure to mark your calendars for this year’s New Year’s Eve on The Square celebration on Thursday, December 31st 2015 at Sugar Land Town Square.
