How Do I... - Sugar Land Resource Center

The Animal Services Division is dedicated to the protection of health and safety of citizens as well as animals when it comes to animal issues. The Division also manages a shelter which offers wonderful animals for adoption and makes volunteer opportunities available for members of our community.

Animal Services comprises of state certified Animal Control Officers who patrol the community responding to complaints of ordinance violations, animal welfare checks, animal bite investigations, wildlife, injured animals and a variety of other calls. Additionally, Animal Service Officers work hard to educate our citizens on responsible pet ownership and wildlife conflict resolution.

The Animal Services Division aims to build a more humane community.
