Earth Hour
Turn Out the Lights for Earth Hour
Sugar Land, TX – Sugar Land will participate in Earth Hour on Saturday, March 25 at 8:30-9:30 P.M. by turning off non-essential lights at City Hall, Public Works Service Center, and Constellation Field. Residents and businesses are asked to join the City in its commitment to a sustainable community.

The goal, of course, is to inspire people to reduce their energy consumption every day, not by sitting in the dark for an hour each night, but by taking simple steps that can have a dramatic effect.

With everyone’s combining effort Earth Hour is not merely an annual event, but is a continuous movement driving real actions to change the world we live in.
