Our Mission
Our
goal is to provide our citizens with as much information as possible
in order to achieve our city goal as "Safest City."
I trust that you will find our site to contain a variety of available information from tips to being safe, to locations of the closest fire station.
I am now going into my fourth year as Fire Chief of this great department and it has been my pleasure serving you and the members of this department. Within this time period, we have established our vision, which is:
The Sugar Land Fire Department will excel as a nationally recognized, intellectually vibrant organization, which is accessible, community-centered, technologically advanced and responsive to the needs of a richly diverse population and workforce.
Our daily mission that should be exhibited by each member is:
The Sugar Land Fire Department is dedicated to enhancing the quality of life in our community by effective and efficient public safety education, fire prevention and emergency response; responding to the needs of our customers with a professional workforce that demonstrates compassion, integrity and respect.
My top priority is that you all be safe and secure. If you feel that you are not safe due to some concern, whether it be an escape route or fire alarm system, you can contact us. We have a division that is fully dedicated to ensuring just that.
We have made great strides in many areas that affect you, our citizens. I encourage each and every one of you to email us with your suggestions on how to improve our services.
Thank you and be safe!
