Mixed Use Conservation District

Since the previous web update in December of 2006, City staff has met with stakeholders on two separate occasions regarding the future of the MUC district. One meeting was held on January 8, 2007 and a subsequent meeting took place on April 30. These meetings were helpful in gathering additional input from area residents and business owners.
At this time, staff has combined the results of extensive fieldwork, research and public input. We plan to bring the proposed amendment to the Planning and Zoning Commission in order for the Commission to make a recommendation to the Mayor and City Council regarding potential changes to the district regulations.
