Hazardous Waste

Residents should take household quantities of most types of hazardous waste to the Fort Bend County Recycling Center. The facility is NOT able to accept medical waste, radioactive materials, PCB’s and dioxins.

Businesses should consult a private hazardous waste disposal company.

Herbicides

Residents should take household quantities of herbicides to the Fort Bend County Recycling Center. Empty containers should be put in the trash. They are not recyclable. Avoid having to dispose of herbicides by buying only what you need.

Don't dump it! - Never put anything into a storm drain! If you have usable leftover items, share them with family or neighbors. Used oil, old paint and other household chemicals may not be placed in your trash for collection.
