Degreasers
Residents should take leftover degreasers to the Fort Bend County Recycling Center. Avoid having to dispose of degreasers by buying only what you need.
Don't dump it! - Never put anything into a storm drain! If you have usable leftover items, share them with family or neighbors. Used oil, old paint and other household chemicals may not be placed in your trash for collection.
Diapers
Diapers cannot be recycled at the curb. Please seal them in a plastic bag and place them in your trash.
Dirt
Dirt is not accepted for curbside pickup. You may be able to dispose of this item at a local landfill for a fee.
Disposable Dishes and Utensils
Disposable dishes and utensils are recyclable if they are made from #1, #2, #3, #4, #5 and #7 plastic, can be recycled in your recycling bin or at the recycling center located at 111 Gillingham Lane.
Rinse any food residue off them and place them in your recycling bin. Disposable dishes and utensils made of paper or other materials are not recyclable−please bag these items and put them in your trash.
Disposable Food Containers
Disposable food containers made are made from #1, #2, #3, #4, #5 and #7 plastic, can be recycled in your recycling bin or at the recycling center located at 111 Gillingham Lane.
Please rinse any food containers before placing them in your bin.
Doors
Residents can set wooden and metal doors out during their regular trash day. You may be able to dispose of this item at a local landfill for a fee.
