Recycling Dropoff Stations
These facilities are open 24-hours a day, 7-days a week. In addition to these drop-off facilities, the City also offers curbside recycling.

Other items that can be recycled are:
Tires - Tires can be dropped in the tire recycling enclosure located at the City of Sugar Land Public Works Department at 111 Gillingham Lane between the hours of 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. Passenger tires only. Rims must be removed. A maximum of 4 per delivery.
Cooking Oil - Used liquefied cooking oils are accepted Monday through Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. at the City of Sugar Land Public Works Department at 111 Gillingham Lane, near the tire recycling center. City residents may dispose of up to 10 gallons of liquid cooking oil per day at no charge. The cooking oil recycling center is for residential customers only and includes only liquid cooking grade fats, oils and grease, NOT petroleum products.
