Single Member District Boundaries

The boundaries of the four single-member council districts are established by Ordinance No. 1590, approved by the city council on November 07, 2006.

The U.S. Justice Department, Civil Rights Division has provided the City with a letter of approval and no objection to the 2006 Redistricting Plan.

The boundaries of the four single-member districts follow the boundaries as shown on the district map (PDF of District Map | Interactive Site of District Map).

The subdivisions of each district and voter precincts are further described by reference.

Sample Ballot

Section 52.008 of the Texas Election Code requires that sample ballots be printed on yellow paper. If you print copies of the sample ballot images for other than personal use, please use yellow paper. To view the sample ballot for the General and Special Election, please click here.
