Executive Summary |

|
SunGard H.T.E. is the software vendor for our enterprise resource system (ERP). It is the backbone for the Citys internal operations, including utility billing, financials, payroll, code enforcement, etc. We have been using the H.T.E. product since 1993. This is a request to renew our maintenance agreement for another year. Renewal entitles the City to receive regular software enhancements as they become available, current user and system documentation, and 24/7 support. Attached is a list of modules broken down by application. During FY 08-09, the City purchased two additional software applications: Time Keeping Interface for the Fire Department and Click2Gov Applicants for the Human Resources Department. The addition of these two software items increased the Citys annual maintenance by a net of $3,796.40 per year. The terms and fees for the software and support of all other applications are consistent with prior year charges. Renewal of the SunGard H.T.E. maintenance is budgeted in the FY10 Information Technology account 010-1125-511-41-80. The contract is automatically renewed upon receipt of a purchase order. Staff recommends the renewal of this agreement with Sungard Public Sector in the amount of $147,501.54. |
