Executive Summary |

|
The annexation of River Park is to take place on December 1, 2009. For the City to be equipped and ready to service this area five (5) new vehicles will need to be purchased. Purchasing will utilize the Interlocal Agreement with Fort Bend County to procure the following vehicles: · Three Ford 1/2 Ton Trucks · One Ford 3/4 Ton Truck · One Ford 1 Ton Truck Through the Houston-Galveston Area Council, HGACBuy Cooperative, Purchasing will procure one vehicle for the Fire Department: · One Chevrolet Tahoe Purchasing has utilized the Fort Bend County Interlocal Agreement and the Houston-Galveston Area Council Cooperative Contract to procure vehicles in past years and had much success. The new vehicles are distributed to City Departments as follows: ·

Park annexation new fleet vehicles is $ 135,085 and the Fire
Department will fund $ 43,847 for a total budget appropriation
of $178,932. Purchasing recommends that City Council approve the purchase of six (6) new vehicles. |
