With the recent signing by the City Council of a Letter of Intent with Opening Day Partners (ODP), the City has committed to continue to work with ODP towards the development of a minor league baseball stadium project and to begin expending funds for preliminary architectural and engineering services so as to better define the scope and cost assumptions for the project. The executed Letter of Intent (LOI) also sets specific deadlines for the selection of a site for the stadium, delivery of draft agreements, and initial selection of architect, schematic designs and development of a preliminary budget. Staff will provide an overview of the LOI deliverables and specific deadlines, processes and coordination of site selection, agreement development and preferred delivery method, process and schedule for design and construction of the minor league baseball stadium. |
