One-year time extension for the approved LJ Pkwy & University Blvd Final Plat

Executive Summary

This is a request for a one-year time extension for the recordation of the approved LJ Pkwy & University Blvd Final Plat.  Under Chapter Five (Subdivision Regulations), Article II, Sec. 5-11, applicants can request a time extension of an approved Final Plat from the Commission prior to the one-year expiration date of the plat.  The LJ Pkwy & University Blvd Final Plat was approved by the Planning and Zoning Commission on February 26, 2009 and consists of 8.7 acres. Access will be obtained by way of existing Oilfield Road in Sugar Land’s ETJ and University Blvd from the east, in Missouri City’s ETJ.  L.J. Parkway has a 105’ right-of-way width and University has a 140’ right-of-way where it connects to LJ Parkway, and then widens to the east to just over 146’, in accordance with the revised Riverstone General Plan. No changes to the plat content are proposed, and under the Development Code, the Commission discretion is limited to approval or denial of the time extension and not a technical re-review of the approved Final Plat.
