Consideration and action by City Council on Resolution 08-53 establishing benefits and compensation for council members. |
Executive Summary |
Resolution #08-53 repeals Resolution #07-47 and will allow individual Council Members to enroll in the City’s health and dental insurance benefit plan at a cost equivalent to the employee contribution for the same plan; previously, council members could enroll but were required to pay the full cost without any City contribution. The proposed resolution reflects the change in the health and dental insurance benefit plan but maintains both the current compensation levels for the Mayor and individual City Council members and the monthly car allowance. |

A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY

WHEREAS,

BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY
COUNCIL
OF THE CITY OF SUGAR LAND,

amount equivalent to the employee contribution for the same plan.
