Executive Summary
This is the Final Street Dedication Plat for Meadowcroft Boulevard and Wescott Avenue Extension. The plat is located in Fort Bend MUD 138, LID 17, to the north of Telfair Section 17 and 18, and consists of 5.79 acres of proposed right-of-way to be dedicated. The preliminary plat was approved by the Commission on August 14, 2007. Meadowcroft will ultimately cross Ditch H to the east and connect to First Colony Boulevard, however that aspect is not a part of this plat approval. Under the Telfair Development Agreement, Newland Communities is responsible for the construction of Meadowcroft from University to Ditch H, plus one half of the roadway across Ditch H. The City will complete the portion of Meadowcroft from Ditch H to First Colony, plus the other half of the roadway across Ditch H. The City’s share of Meadowcroft connection is anticipated for a Capital Improvement Project (CIP) in 2009 which will include ROW acquisition.
