Executive Summary |
||||
|
This is a Final Street Dedication Plat for Easton Avenue, located at the northwest corner of Tract 4 in the Telfair development. The plat consists of 0.689 acres and is within MUD 136 and LID 17. This street will connect Telfair to US 90A and will line up with the prison road on the north side of 90A. Though not included in this plat, Easton Ave. will continue south over Bullhead Bayou and eventually intersect with Chatham Ave. as was recently approved in a separate Preliminary Plat by the Commission. The right-of-way width is generally 70’ which is consistent with the Telfair General Plan. The Planning and Zoning Commission approved the Preliminary Plat for this street dedication on October 25, 2007 with conditions to correct Commission signature block and finalization of the TxDOT approval for the alignment of the ROW to US 90A. The applicant has indicated that TxDOT has finalized the alignment and LJA is awaiting receipt of the official permit. We are recommending that the plat be approved, but that recordation not occur until the City is in receipt of the TxDOT permit. CC: Jason Kelly, jkelly@ljaengineering.com File No. 9749 |
