PUBLIC COMMENTS

Citizens who desire to address the Board with regard to matters on the agenda will be received at this time.  The number of speakers will be limited to the first ten (10) speakers and each speaker is limited to three (3) minutes.

Comment or discussion by any member of the board shall be made only at the time the subject is scheduled for consideration on the board agenda in accordance with Government Code Section 551.042.

WORKSHOP

Receive presentation from Houston Wilderness on the vision for Sam Houston Trail.  Mr. Joe Chesser, Assistant Parks and Recreation Director.

CAPITAL IMPROVEMENTS

A.

Review of and discussion on the scope of the capital improvement project for Gannoway Park Land.  Mr. Joe Chesser, Assistant Parks and Recreation Director.

DIRECTOR REPORT

A.

Review of and discussion on February through April 2008 Director Reports.  Mr. James Browne, Parks and Recreation Director.
